Well this year has been pretty successful so far. The pass rate for Mark Neill school of motoring stands at 91% as of today.
The roads today are extremely busy. Some of the road systems are becoming ever more complicated and even the most competent of drivers have to be at their best to negotiate them.
Its not good enough just to teach people to drive and and pass the test. That is why I try and challenge my learners and give as much variety as I can and that means going off test areas. We cover motorway driving ( Thats great for planning ahead and checking mirrors ), we cover busy roundabouts, mini roundabouts, extreme meeting traffic, built up areas, and basically any difficult areas that we can find.
Learning to drive is a two way process. If you are determined then you will succeed. If there is anything you aren’t sure of, we will discuss and practice. I like my drivers to be confident and competent, but most importantly to be able to think for themselves by the time they get to their driving test.
Nothing gives me more pleasure that shaking someones hand when they have just passed their driving test. Knowing that I have just helped put another safe driver on the road.
